African Turquoise: The Stone of Evolution
African Turquoise is in fact a form of Jasper, although its blue-green color has lead to its trade name of African Turquoise. All Jaspers are members of the Chalcedony group of rocks and all of them are formed with mineral inclusions, such as copper and iron, which give each variety a unique and beautiful appearance.
