Bohemian Style Multi-Gem Bracelet Tutorial

Bohemian Style Multi-Gem Bracelet Tutorial

Make this multi-gem boho bracelet with a custom accent bead!

In this tutorial we'll create a colorful and custom bracelet using simple materials and techniques. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike!

Tools needed: Round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, cutters.

Working with headpins and malachite tube beads.

Step 1: Create your accent bead.

3 malachite tube beads, 4 microfaceted amethyst beads, 5 head pins (heads clipped off)

Put each malachite tube onto a head pin. Using round nose pliers, make a loop at both ends of each headpin. Take the 2 remaining head pins and put them through the loops, adding amethyst beads in between.

Then fold in both ends of each headpin towards the center and make a loop at the end of each side, using your round-nose pliers. Adjust the loops so they line up. Repeat this process on the other side of the tubes.

Step 2: Assemble your bracelet

Plan for a total finished length of 7"

Arrange the rest of your beads (on a bead board or a towel), leaving a 1” gap in the middle for your accent bead, with a large-hole silver accent bead on either side of the center.

Attach a 6” length of stringing wire to each side of your accent bead (going through both loops of the accent bead), using 2 crimp beads on each side. Working one side at a time, add your large-hole silver bead first, and then string the rest of the beads, finishing each end with 2 crimp beads and a toggle clasp.
