These natural Argentinian rhodochrosite beads has not been treated to enhance color or clarity in any way.

Known as the 'stone of the compassionate heart'. Rhodochrosite is found mainly in Argentina, and occurs as a hydrothermal vein mineral along with other manganese minerals in low temperature ore deposits.

Count of beads on a strand:

  • 4mm = 85 Beads
  • 6mm = 58 Beads
  • 8mm = 45 Beads
  • 10mm = 36 Beads
  • 12mm = 30 Beads

Better than I hoped

My string of rhodochrosite has beautifully banded pinks. The banded colors are each so distinct - each bead has the same pink colors but are each unique. The beads are all the same size and all well polished. Rhodochrosite can have dark areas and pale color- my beads have vibrant colors and are each perfect. Very pleased to have these beauties!
