These microfaceted round beads are warm honey and butter yellow with paler cream beads mixed in and the occasional peach or orange spot, so the strand has a soft, mottled glow. The tiny facets catch the light without losing the stone's gentle translucence. Yellow aventurine is a quartz with fine mineral inclusions, mostly mica and iron oxides, that give it its color and a faint shimmer. In metaphysical belief, yellow aventurine is associated with optimism, confidence and new beginnings.
