These microfaceted round beads are deep forest green with silvery, feather-like chatoyant streaks and scattered darker brown-green patches, so every bead has its own pattern. The tiny facets make the silvery streaks flash as the strand moves. Seraphinite is the trade name for a gem-quality variety of clinochlore, a chlorite group mineral mined near Lake Baikal in Siberia, and its name comes from the feathery white patterns that resemble angel wings. In metaphysical belief, seraphinite is associated with healing, spiritual connection and balance.
