Gorgeous quality 100% natural purple mica beads!

These freeform tube beads are orchid purple with lilac and white patches and a sparkly, flaked texture. Purple mica is usually lepidolite, a lithium-bearing mica found in granite pegmatites, and its thin layers give it a soft sparkle. In metaphysical belief, lepidolite is associated with calm and balance.

Purple Mica, I'm under your spell!

I'm obsessed with these purple mica beads. Every bead catches the light in a different way, but all of them have an eye-catching shimmery glow. I used some of these to create a multi-gem bracelet for a Tejas Beads tutorial, and I'm excited to make many more things with these. Next up, earrings!

Back for Seconds!

I am so happy with my first purchase of the purple mica tubes that I purchased two more. They will make terrific bracelets, and necklaces too. Lovely color!

Love these unusual beads. Great color and shape. They will add a lot to a fushia or purple-pink necklace or earrings. Can't wait to start!
