These A grade rondelle pearls are white with a faint cream overtone and a soft luster, with the light natural surface texture that comes with the grade. The rondelle shape is flattened on both sides, so the pearls sit flush against each other and give a dense, uniform line on the strand. Freshwater pearls are grown in mussels and are nearly all nacre, which gives them their deep, soft glow. In metaphysical belief, pearls are associated with purity, calm and wisdom.
