These flat faceted oval beads mix pale aqua, seafoam and sky blue with patches of cream, white and soft peach, so no two beads look quite alike. Amazonite is a blue-green variety of microcline feldspar that grows in granite and pegmatite, and its color comes from traces of lead and water in the crystal, while the cream and peach areas are other minerals mixed through the stone. In metaphysical belief, amazonite is associated with calm and serenity.
