Mala, 8mm Beryl beads

Buddhist mala made with the beryl A beads in 8mm. Beautiful light catchers, I use them to focus some meditations in addition to counting mantras. Cool to the touch, they feel warm but not hot like some stones do when worn wrapped on wrist. Topaz chunks insulate the guru bead, quartz chunks mark four segments. I don't like to knot my malas, I like the auditory feedback of beads clicking over my fingers. I wasn't sure beryl was right for me but it is; I'm going to get larger beryl beads for another mala, easier for my old hands to count through, once I can handle the expense and gift this one to the ani at my temple. May all beings benefit from any merit created.
