These smooth round beads are buttery lemon to honey yellow and translucent. Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral that forms in limestone, marble and mineral veins, and it is soft for a stone, about 3 on the Mohs scale, so it is best stored apart from harder beads. In metaphysical belief, yellow calcite is associated with confidence, optimism and clarity.

Lovely Beads for Gifting

I used these beads for a necklace and earring set, along with a mix of additional harmonizing Tejas beads, all in the sunny hues of the color spectrum, for a gift that will be given at Christmas. While I will have to wait for a reaction to the design I created, I can state that these quality beads are smooth, lustrous, consistent in size, and handsome in color.
