These natural dendritic opal beads have not been treated to enhance color or clarity in any way.

These smooth round beads are amber brown, honey, cream and gray, and some show dark, branching markings. Dendritic opal is a common opal, a hydrated form of silica, and its tree-like markings are dendrites of manganese oxide that grew along tiny cracks. In metaphysical belief, dendritic opal is associated with growth and a connection with nature.
