These smooth rondelle beads mix deep royal blue azurite with bright teal and emerald green malachite, speckled with dark brown and black matrix, so the color shifts from bead to bead along the strand. Azurite and malachite are both copper carbonate minerals that form together where copper ore weathers and oxidizes. Azurite gives the blue and malachite the green, and the two grow into one another in swirled, intergrown patterns. In metaphysical belief, azurite malachite is associated with insight and transformation.
