An opaque carbon rich stone with a silvery metallic cast. Originating in Shunga, Russia, it is known for cleansing, purification and is commonly used in meditation.

Beautiful beads

These shunghite beads are beautiful. I was worried the 8.5mm would feel too big. But the piece I made is for a guy with a larger frame so they size actually works perfectly.
