These Rhodochrosite beads display rich pink to rosy-red tones with distinctive cream and pale pink banding that creates a striking marbled appearance. Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral that forms in hydrothermal veins and sedimentary deposits, with its characteristic color and banding developing through variations in mineral chemistry during crystal growth. Beautiful pink color I’m happy I purchased these. They were a bit more pricey then other purchases but I’m pleased with how well the match my other rhodochrosite. Saving my money to invest in even larger beads to be able to see the striated beauty of this mineral.
