These natural Llanite Rhyolite beads have not been treated or enhanced in any way.  

This Llanite Rhyolite is a Precambrian felsic extrusive rock found in Llano County of Central Texas and consists mainly of feldspar, blue quartz, and biotite, with trace amounts of several other minerals.

These beads appear just as in the photo. I intend to use them to design rosaries for a grandson and a son-in-law; with the beads being from stones found in Llano County in Texas they will be especially meaningful. I love the meditative tactile quality of real stone.

These are very pretty I just wish that I could have gotten larger beads than I did. They were out of 10mm when I purchased them. The detail is harder to see on the smaller beads. I still like them very much a plus is found in the USA.
