Kunzite is a variety of the mineral spodumene and it is delicate pale pink in color. George Frederick Kunz discovered Kunzite and named it after himself in 1902. George was a distinguished mineralogist and at that time was the head jeweler at Tiffany & Co. Kunzite can be found in North and South America, as well in parts of Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
