Recommendations

For beads 4mm and smaller, it is recommended to start with stringing wires no larger than .013inch / .33mm. This will ensure a proper fit and in most cases allow for feeding of the wire tip back through the beads for a clean finish.

Elastic cords can be used with beads 4mm and larger, but it will not fit through most beads smaller than 4mm. It's recommended to use 0.5mm elastic cord.

These recommendations are intended to help guide you for a successful project. With time and experience you'll discover what works best for your designs.

Tejas Beads has officially become my absolute go-to shop for gemstone beads. Regardless of what I order, the quality is consistently excellent—the stones are always beautiful, the colors are vibrant, and the strands are top-notch.
What really sets them apart, though, is their incredible efficiency. I am located in Hawaii, and I consistently receive my orders within just 2 days of placement! It is rare to find a seller that combines this level of product quality with such lightning-fast shipping. Whether you are a hobbyist or a professional, I cannot recommend this shop enough for reliable, high-quality materials.

Beads are beautiful!!

I am so happy with the lapis beads I received. All the strands (different sizes all together) were placed in one ziplock, which made it difficult to sort as they were tangled up. But the beads themselves are beautiful. - thank-you

Nice deep blue color

Lapis is my go-to favorite. These have a nice deep, rich blue color. Love that the stones are not dyed to achieve this. Thank you
