100% natural petrified wood beads!

These smooth barrel beads are brown, rust and gray with wood-like banding, with small spacer beads between them. Petrified wood, also known as agatized wood, forms when buried wood is slowly replaced by silica, which preserves the grain of the original tree in stone. In metaphysical belief, petrified wood is associated with grounding, patience and a connection to the past.

Beauty in every stone.

These beads were from one of my latest purchases from Tejas. I am so happy every time I receive my orders from Tejas Beads. Every strand is beautiful and generates the immediate need to start creating items. I used these beads, with hickorite beads I had been holding fot years.

Thrilled to find Tejas and the gorgeous stones in their collection!
