These flat faceted oval beads range from soft pink to strawberry red, translucent with glittering red flecks and a few cloudy pale areas, and the facets make the flecks sparkle as the beads turn. Strawberry quartz is quartz that grew around tiny flakes of iron minerals such as lepidocrocite and hematite, and those flakes give it its color and soft shimmer. In metaphysical belief, strawberry quartz is associated with love, joy and warmth.
