These flat faceted oval beads mix dusty rose, salmon pink, tan and soft gray, marked with the charcoal spots, rings and bands that give leopard skin jasper its name. Leopard skin jasper is an orbicular rhyolite, a volcanic rock whose spots are spherulites, tiny clusters of quartz and feldspar that crystallized outward in rings as the glassy lava cooled. In metaphysical belief, leopard skin jasper is associated with strength, perseverance and a connection with nature.
