These rondelle disk beads come in a variety of colors, including silver, gunmetal, gold and copper tones, and they make great spacers for your jewelry. Hematite is an iron oxide mineral and the main ore of iron, and every color except the natural has an electroplated coating. In metaphysical belief, hematite is associated with grounding, focus and strength.

I wanted for quite a while to create “Luna” pendant necklaces for my daughters to honor the memory of my grandmother who grew up in Victorian England and whose maiden name was “Moon.” She was fond of the moon motif in art and jewelry. As a young child, I was fascinated by semi-precious gemstones where light interacted with the internal structure of the stone to create special visual effects and movement, which I associated with the changing appearance of the moon as Earth’s atmosphere created lunar halos and reflections in nocturnal clouds, or as shifting shadows from fall clouds drifted past the moon’s face. At Tejas beads, I found exactly what I was seeking to design a Luna necklace: two varieties of Rainbow Moonstone, Labradorite, Mother of Pearl, White Jade, faceted Hematite, and antique silver beads. I have one necklace made, one more to fashion.
I used 2 different diameters of Kambaby Ocean Jasper, combined with Wood Jasper, gold Hematite rondelle disks, and light amber crystals (all components from Tejas beads, with the exceptions only of the glass bicone crystals and the findings) to create this set for a friend. The Hematite rondelle disks are completely consistent in size, color, and shine. Not only do they serve to protect the semi-precious stone beads from damaging each other, but the gold flashes also enhance the entire design.
Beautiful, Shiney and perfect for my necklaces!
I really like these little hematite spacer beads. I have already used quite a few in a necklace that I designed for myself. All of the beads that I purchased are great quality.
They were a perfect fit and color.

My first order from TEJAS Beads just arrived. It was well-packaged and was shipped quickly. I love the sparkle of the beads I ordered. I will order from TEJAS Beads again soon.
