An opaque carbon rich stone with a silvery metallic cast. Originating in Shunga, Russia, it is known for cleansing, purification and is commonly used in meditation.

This stone conducts electricity, but you may need to break a bead or test through the holes to get a positive reading due to the polish / coating on the exterior of the bead.

Count of beads on a strand:

  • 4mm = 85 Beads
  • 6mm = 58 Beads
  • 8mm = 45 Beads
  • 10mm = 36 Beads
