These sparkling golden beads feature a warm, honey-like glow with a touch of natural translucency. Yellow Apatite is a phosphate mineral that forms in hexagonal crystals and is prized for its vibrant energy and sunny color. Though relatively rare compared to its blue and green varieties, yellow apatite is valued by jewelry makers for its light-catching qualities. With a hardness of 5 on the Mohs scale, it is best suited for necklaces, earrings, and designs where it won’t face heavy wear.

Recommendations

For beads 4mm and smaller, it is recommended to start with stringing wires no larger than .013inch / .33mm. This will ensure a proper fit and in most cases allow for feeding of the wire tip back through the beads for a clean finish.

Elastic cords can be used with beads 4mm and larger, but it will not fit through most beads smaller than 4mm. It's recommended to use 0.5mm elastic cord.
