These smooth round beads show purple and white in bold chevron bands, so every bead has its own stripes and pattern. Chevron amethyst forms when amethyst and white quartz grow in alternating layers, and amethyst is a member of the quartz family with hues from pale to deep purple. In metaphysical belief, amethyst is associated with calm, clarity and spiritual awareness.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February.

Amethyst Chevron

Although I have purchased many beautiful beads from Tejas Beads, the textured Amethyst Chevron Is my new favorite. I am making bracelets exclusively now, and I love the texture in the Amethyst Chevron. I pair it with the 2x4 Amethyst Rondelle.

I had a question about these Chevron beads (133) versus the other option for sale (134), and Tejas called me right back to help. I had purchased the 134s a few months ago, and decided to try the 133s on their recommendation. Honestly, I love them both! The 133s are a deeper purple.
