These smooth round beads are a vivid pumpkin orange with soft cream banding, a natural match for fall foliage or Halloween designs. Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral that forms in limestone, marble and mineral veins, and it is soft for a stone, about 3 on the Mohs scale, so it is best stored apart from harder beads. In metaphysical belief, orange calcite is associated with creativity and joy.
