Kambaba Jasper, also known as Stromatolite Jasper is a green and black marbled stone made up of fossilized mounts of an algae-like substance.  Stromatolites were the Earth's first photosynthetic organisms responsible for transforming the atmosphere into an oxygen-rich environment that is the building block for life as we know it today.

Kambaba jasper is also referred to as crocodile jasper because of its crocodile skin like appearance.
