These faceted round beads are soft cream to pale beige, fairly even in color, with facets that catch the light. Fossil jasper, also sometimes called riverstone, is a trade name for this fine-grained, silica-rich stone, which formed as minerals slowly hardened the sediments it came from. In metaphysical belief, fossil jasper is associated with grounding, patience and a connection to the past.
