It’s beautiful, but it’s really, really dark

It’s beautiful, but it’s really, really dark. Basically looks black, except in one photo, I was able to capture the red in the sunlight. If you’re looking for more of a red garnet, get the red garnet. I just expected this to have more of a red translucency, but it’s still an exquisitely beautiful stone, and I made good use of it.
