These matte round beads are a frosted milky white with a soft bluish glow. Opalite is a man-made glass, not a natural opal, made to glow blue against dark backgrounds and turn warmer against light ones. In metaphysical belief, opalite is associated with transition and clear communication.

More clear than cloudy

I had hoped for a more frosted look. These beads are pretty, so I’ll keep them, but I wanted a more cloudy look for a specific dress. The photo isn’t representative of what I received, for the first time. My Tejas Beads orders are usually exactly like the photos, and within any stated variations.
