dZi, pronounced "zee" is a Tibetan word to describe decoratively patterned stones. These are natural stones with engravings or surficial alterations to enhance the appearance.

These matte round beads are caramel and copper brown with a cream lattice pattern. dZi beads are decorated with engraved or surface-altered patterns, a style rooted in Tibetan bead traditions. In metaphysical belief, dZi beads are associated with good fortune.

Unique Natural Design

I enjoy choosing materials and tailoring designs for family and friends to please their tastes and to harmonize with their individual coloring. I used these beads, mixed with other beads of compatible hues and shapes (also from Tejas beads), to create a birthday set for one of my daughters. This agate is quite unusual and presents with a soft, matte texture.
