These hematite beads have been electroplated giving them a brilliant bright gold color.

These smooth round beads have a bright gold metallic finish, and they make great spacers that add a little weight to your designs. Hematite is an iron oxide mineral and the main ore of iron, so the beads feel heavy for their size, and the electroplated coating gives them their bright gold color. In metaphysical belief, hematite is associated with grounding, focus and strength.

Gorgeous, but many are fused

The beads are gorgeous, and the ones that are right are wonderful, although I haven't worn them long enough yet to know how well the finish holds up. The issue comes in that about a quarter of the string was compromised of beads that were fused together in pairs, which wasn't usable in my project. Plus, it was really annoying while beading to keep grabbing unusable beads.

Holes too small to fit on my elastic. Can’t use

Elastic cord won't fit through 2mm beads, the holes are too small. You'll need to use wires.

When I ordered the 2mm bright gold smooth round hematit beads it said you only had 10 in stock.
