Santa Maria Aquamarine is a highly sought-after variety of aquamarine, renowned for its intense blue color reminiscent of the deep ocean and originating from the Santa Maria de Itabira mine in Brazil. Today, stones are labeled as "Santa Maria" to indicate their rich color rather than their exact origin. Currently, deep-blue aquamarines are found in Mozambique, Madagascar, Pakistan, and Nigeria.

Elastic cords can be used with beads 4mm and larger, but it will not fit through most beads smaller than 4mm. It's recommended to use 0.5mm elastic cord.
