These tubes measure approximately 9–11mm in diameter and 10–30mm in length, with some pieces varying slightly in size due to the mixed nature of the strands.
These are handcrafted Krobo beads from Ghana, made by skilled artisans who transform recycled glass bottles into fine powder before melting them in clay molds. The distinctive white-on-blue patterns are painted onto the surface using a glass-powder paste and double-fired to permanently fuse the design. Historically designed to mimic Venetian trade beads.
