Crafted in Ghana by Krobo artisans, these beads are formed from finely ground recycled glass that is melted inside clay molds during an initial firing. A second firing process is used to fuse the hand-painted, vibrant blue and red patterns directly onto the surface for a durable and textured finish. This traditional double-firing technique ensures that each bead remains a unique, high-quality reproduction of historic African trade jewelry.
