100% natural Chrysocolla beads! Amazing material and a gorgeous faceting. 

Chrysocolla has a beautiful velvety blue to green color stone and it is found in many different locations around the world, including Australia, Chile, Greece, the United States, and Peru where this one originates. The gemstone is commonly found in close proximity to copper deposits which are partially responsible for its formation. It is a relatively soft stone rating 3-3.5 on the Mohs hardness scale so it should be handled with care to avoid scratches. Chrysocolla is a beautiful and unique stone that is perfect for anyone who loves blue jewelry.

 

Bead Count

Count of beads on a strand:

  • 2mm = 170 Beads
  • 3mm = 115 Beads
  • 4mm = 85 Beads

Hole Size

Bead hole size ranges:

  • 2mm = 0.3mm to 0.5mm
  • 3mm = 0.3mm to 0.5mm

Recommendations

For beads 4mm and smaller, it is recommended to start with stringing wires no larger than .013inch / .033mm. This will ensure a proper fit and in most cases allow for feeding of the wire tip back through the beads for a clean finish.

Elastic cords can be used with beads 4mm and larger, but it will not fit through most beads smaller than 4mm. It's recommended to use 0.5mm elastic cord.

Beautiful

I have ordered several strands if many different gemstones to replenish my supply and these mostly seem to blend in with the ones I already have. I am able to mix them in with no major color or quality differences

Pretty blend of colors.
